Difficult markets to forecast but my FF is more pullbacl followed by new ATH by end if March. And, very bearish APRIL.

BUT, will the FED OPENLY SUGGEST STRONGLY there is no RATE CUT during next 3 months?

BARRON'S: As long as Fed Chairman Jerome Powell signals that the next move for borrowing costs will be lower, the stock market may not be too perturbed.

However, a change in language over whether the central bank could hike again would really set the cat among the pigeons.

In that scenario the Fed may rival the Bank of Japan for the most significant intervention by a global central bank this week. The BoJ may hike rates for the first time in 17 years, finally ending its era of negative rates.

The machinations of central banks have taken a back seat for investors recently as the artificial-intelligence boom has preoccupied minds. Thats about to change in a week that could shape global markets for the rest of the year.

Re: Your Bond Market Crash
MARCH 18, 2024 BY JC

Over the weekend I found myself having to remind someone that the U.S. Bond Market is crashing.

I know many of us have just grown accustomed to the bond market crashing all year, every year.

But this isnt just something to dismiss, like many investors have apparently found themselves doing.

This is the biggest bond market crash in our lifetimes.

The #Fed and #markets are finally on the same page on rate-cut expectations...and the really good news is that they got there without any major economic and financial dislocations. Now they need to account more fully for the multi-year shift in the macro-economic environment. https://t.co/B8fV5jPrPx

HUGE BEARISH POLL! TOO BEARISH...

The results are in and folks lean bearish once again. Three of the last four weeks have been voted 'down' and the market is mostly flat in that time.
So maybe we're not getting -100 but directionally you guys have been correct.
Thanks for voting! https://t.co/75nH9B7oqJ

Consensus bulls are, well, quite bullish. Current reading is 79. Hasn't been 80 or above in 20 yrs!
Been keeping data since 1987. Been 79 or more only 6 other times. https://t.co/cqTQk7BemB
