Looks like he got cold feet and has delayed the tariffs to March ,,,,, if they come at all.

 

Could be bullish for the market if this can be combined with lower fuel prices to combat the higher inflation readings that were just released .

I love the idea of eliminating income tax and use high tariffs on every import. 

I just figured my 2024 federal income tax. Ouch. To my knowledge we had just such a system long time ago and it made the country prosperous and rich.

America is as prosperous as it can be, these reckless new policies are absolute gambles and the government can only fudge the numbers so much to hide the highest inflation with these tariffs in place.

Haha if my federal income tax was eliminated I could buy a new car every year and donate last year's car to charity.

No cold feet, it's extremely complicated to implement. He has smart people who know markets working on this.
