Well, sub $50 NEM is no surprise to this hombre... he expected it.

http://www.traders-t...ndpost&p=197351

Also, I have stated in another thread that this volume spike 12/12/05 would need to be rationalized and that we could expect to spend some time south of the border (as senor would say) off this candle, in other words under $50.

Not without a reasonable retracement however. Let's say at least to 54 area. And at least a retest of the high of this 12/12/ candle... 52.49.

hi jnavin, your record speaks loud and clear. tomorrow could be do or die time. xau has hourly divergences, hui does not(using 9 bar rsi). no divergences on nem or rgld, yet. if divergences occur, then i will add w/close stop. i am short the rut, and if the indexes start to head south of the border, 87 is still a memory for me, they threw the baby out w/the bath water. then, i will close my gold position. right now nothing has been violated on the broads. i am looking for the 4 yr cycle down to assert itself sometime soon, maybe this month, after the eclipse or in may w/the bradley. just my 2c. dharma

Exactly. That's my target, too.

so far this am hourly divergences in xau and hui. rgld, nem, and gfi all have hourly divergences. others are over sold. not adding until it is clear that these divergences are holding. this has turned into a major correction in this sector and a buying op, but not yet for me. dharma

They are taking NEM deep on some volume here... just like yesterday. Bullish spring is still a strong possibility... I suppose some important support could be tested in the 46 area first. In any case, my trade has not triggered long yet. I need to see a sign of strength*, retest of the low on lighter volume first...Show me a 20M + day on NEM down here and that would change my opinion. But otherwise, it's just a deep piggie poke for another big pig run.... Oink!! *Sign of strength as in, taking out a meaningful swing high on STRONGER volume from today's drubbing on the intraday charts ( I use 3,10,30,60,120,180,210 min frequencies... the longer the frequency the better the signal... Wild trading overall these days... B)

Fewer bottom pickers - people looking for lower prices - I like it !! XAU 120-125 is a good support for me. HUI 250-260. NEM 47.5. After this correction, 3 of 3 of 3 of grande gold move will begin. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi John, Thanks for explaining it to me. You guys all experts here. I always pay attention to what Senor says. This has been a great learning op for me. Best, G.

It is not the doing that is difficult, but the knowing

It's the illiquidity, stupid !

Yes, I'm watching it closely on multiple timeframes... First of all the outlook for the daily here is lower low on higher volume... That rules over all the intraday timeframes. Not just higher volume but possibly as high as the last day of volume 12.5M. Now that's not good news, is it? So even though we may seem to be turning on the smaller timeframes(break lows on lighter volume), You can see that as we go higher it's on lighter volume... This is the type of behavior we look for in C pt of ABC down structure....
