XAU Pattern Recognition signal, itself, flips back to a Buy on the close tomorrow. I have been using a short-term filter this year, and it says NOT to flip to a Buy just yet. It would allow a flip to a Buy IF the close tomorrow (thursday) is > about 143.00. ... still short. Rick

XAU pattern prediction is long, but the signal using a filter is still short. BUT it will go long on the close Friday IF the close is > 142.0. Rick

The XAU pattern recognition signal did change to BUY on the close TODAY. The pattern recognition prediction has been long for the past 2 days, but the entry/exit filter I have been using did not change to Long until the close today.... Rick

Just in case you were wondering... The XAU PR signal with the filter is up +3.5% YTD while the XAU itself is essentially flat. Rick

The last 2 days (including tonight's close) were solidly bullish prediction numbers. I have been using a filter since the first of the year. Without using it, the performance of the signal would be -5%, but with it, it is + 2.3% as of tonight's close. If the XAU closes below about 139 tomorrow, the filter will say to reverse the current buy signal... and go short. Rick

XAU PR still Long... a nicely positive prediction number for today's close. BUT... a close below 140 would reverse to SHORT tomorrow. Rick
