Looking at $XAU and $HUI and keeping it simple, both weekly charts look like they're in a long sideways consolidation. Daily just had an upside breakout from a shorter-term consolidation, and it looks like there is room for some more upside before they hit resistance at the upper end of the longer-term consolidation range. Also, $HUI:GLD ratio, which used to be a pretty good indicator (though I haven't watched it much lately), just broke above its 200 day MA.
