i spent a couple of hours at Filoli yesterday (http://www.filoli.org/) and the place was packed with people taking in the beauty of the late season tulips.

filoli is located about 30 miles south of san francisco. the name filoli is an acronym that means "Fight for a just cause, love your fellow man, and live a good life."

if you're ever in the bay area i strongly recommend that you check out filoli, which was the carrington mansion on the television show dynasty and a very remarkable property steeped in bay area hidtory.

here are a couple of pictures. if you want to see more click on the link in my signature, and have a great 3-day weekend B) !

Great shots. We need to stop and smell the tulips. And roses. Red Buds, dogwoods and azaleas are busting out here and are just beautiful. But we will get a killer freeze Sunday AM. I guess Frisco will be spared. B)

Ed, Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures, Fioli's is one of my faves but I haven't been there in several years, yet it's so close. What kind of camera do you use if I may ask? Best, Tom

Ed,
Thanks for the camera info, when it comes to image quality, the 5d is a bargain.
My health is still deteriorating as I'm still wasting/malabsorbing and have yet to come up with a diagnosis. I swallowed a pill cam today and have my fingers crossed that the pictures it took of my small bowel are as good as those of your 5d. It was a trip holding the pill in my hand and watching the flash unit in it going off. I really didn't want to put it in my mouth and swallow it but I had no choice, lol. Will have to wait a week or two for the results. Many thanks.
Tom
