Rocketman posted this info elsewhere, but as we all big fans, I thought I'd copy it here:

Thanks for the links. You know, it's funny but I have not looked at the moon in the same way for the past year or so. I don't believe in astrology but seems that sunspots and the moon's relation to the earth and sun have some still undiscovered affects on us.

Since he does free lance work for GS I would think he would give us the opposite of what GS believes will happen. Given the miss last time how could he continue to work unless he did not pass on what he really thought would happen. GS gets one look and the TV networks get another.

His forecast using his cycles is almost directly opposite of what I have had for a number of years. A top in 2013? Hmmm, I would like to know what cycle gave him that year for a top. The 40, 80, and 120 year cycles bottom 2014 and it will take more than one year of selling off to get to those bottoms.

The moon? I have been tracking the full moon and new moon for about two years. As an indicator, it is not worth the trouble. Maybe some day the automated trading systems will be programmed to trade emotionally but for now forget the moon.

Sun spots? If they can blow transmissions or a few computerized trading platforms their might be something to that.

I think there was a time when the moon, sun spots, and astrology in general made sense for trading. However, the advent of automated trading systems has in my opinion severely reduced the usefulness of these areas.

It is easier to flip a coin........random patterns and random results.
Good luck is with the man who doesn't include it in his plan.
