The only way I'd have been bitter would be had I been one of your followers... I have nothing but good memories in that 2000 timeframe.. in October of that year I shorted BRCD, JDSU in triple digits, that was a short-sellers dream come true.

Yes, I remember, but...............it was late 1987 or early 1988 on FNN when Don says BUY! Of course I didnt listen, too petrified. :blush: :cry:

Oh but I DID buy gold stocks... HL at .87 for example...the next year it was the biggest gainer on the NYSE.

20 years ago? Even before the crash, If you put 10,000 bucks a year in a stodgy mutual fund that got 10 percent a year you'd have almost 650,000 bucks now. And that's without looking at a single chart. Always pays to invest in America over the long haul. mm

ah, what a pic,

That means that I am da woman market timer since Aug 2004.

You will know, market-God, tracking my ISP, don't know what da_cheif was saying.

Of course, da market - God is told me so....... I listen to market God.... sorry guys. :P
