According to evidences, this person is someone that most of you already know.

Gee...it sure would be a real shame if one were to point a finger at someone as being guilty and then later find out that it wasn't this same person. Not only do you destroy the character of this same individual, but you, yourself, might be looking at a legal challenge as a direct result.

Tread lightly.

How can there be a legal chllege of any substance if the person is known as a nickname. No case at all, and when people say they "know" him, is only based on the nickname. No defamation issues IMO.

BWAHAHAHA... you better stick to TA. Atilla uses his real name, he's got a case here, the other joker is a nom de plume.

So if we're going to be consistent then Atilla's assumption of someone directly "impersonating" him can also be called into question as well and he too would have no legal recourse as he claims he's pursuing.

Quite a tangled web if you think about it, and it comes to no good when we decide to prosecute others without providing judicial prudence. Just ask the boys on the Duke lacrosse team, or those who go through political assassinations almost every day in Washington and elsewhere.

i read that blog and thought it was pretty humorous in a sarcastic vein. xD may have been upset he was subject of the blog's humor but he was not above making some veiled sarcastic remarks about other's posts and market analysis when he was a regular poster on TT. if you're going to talk the talk, you better be ready to walk the walk.

You won't, Semi.

There's a very real difference between teasing a profile on a message board and misrepresenting someone professionally. One is annoying or funny (alternately?), the other is actionable.

One has to tread mighty carefully when one starts messing with another man's bread and butter.

Sure seems like a lot of work to me to take the time and trouble to set up a blog and assume false personas on a message board so that you can anonymously (until somebody busts you) stalk and terrorize another poster.
