lmao......notice....that fat butts are in and big bellies are out.......

Cookie of miniscule perturbation: Losing weight and KEEPING IT OFF, is easy ... if you know how. You don't have to feel deprived, go on a strict "diet" or run 80 laps every morning. Learn 3 simple concepts and you'll lose in a slow, but steady fashion. And losing weight IS a matter of changing your MIND.

If beliefs stay the same, then actions stay the same (behaviour) and outcomes stay the same (too much weight).

I've seen a lot of people stop smoking, then go into a bar and sit down and have a few, and it's often near-impossible to quell the urge to burn one then.

And if you put a good buzz on you had best stay away from the buffet table.

Dawg

"good buzz and stay away from da buffet table"....u mean strawberries at whipt cream at the Y ...eh....snort...

I took the "little lady" to Bonefish Grill for dinner last night to celebrate 37 years of her putting up with me.
I was very careful with my diet.
Started off with water.
Then moved up to a Pina Colada. (For the fruit of course. They are great "if you're not into yoga, if you have half-a-brain. If you like making love at midnight...)
Had a coupon for a free appetizer of Bang Bang Shrimp (Tender, crispy shrimp tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce.) It was to die for. It was sitting on some lettuce so I ate some of that just for good health.
Then had to try their Crispy Calamari. It is only "lightly fried" so it is very healthy.
(Tender calamari lightly fried and served with marinara sauce and Thai sweet hot sauce.)
I was almost full by then so only ordered some Corn Chowder with Lump Crab.
(Generous lump crabmeat in a classic corn chowder.) It was so rich. Had a subtle taste of Sherry.
Our waiter topped it off with two chocolate dipped strawberries and a side of whipped cream.

Yep. No smoked Pork ribs for me!
I'm watching my diet.

And I was so full, I forgot to smoke... Until mid-night. ;)

Yes it is rich and spicy. Just like my little lady.

There is some debate as to the healthfulness of eating shrimp.
This site says it's in the World's Healthiest Foods catagory.
They probably don't recommend it fried. LOL!
As always...moderation.

There's a restaurant chain called Cozy Mel's which specializes in Mexican seafood.
They have a shrimp coctail appetizer which is very good.
It's called Ceviche: Posted ImagePosted Image Marinated shrimp, scallops and pico de gallo tossed in lime juice and spices
They use Serrano chilis rather than Jalapenos in their dishes.
Combined with limes rather than lemons, it has a wonderful flavor.

Try making this salsa (pico de gallo) with serrano peppers:
Several chopped tomatoes
Chopped Serrano peppers (go easy gringos)
Fresh squeezed Lime juice (don't be stingy)
Diced Celery or cucumber for crunch
Chopped fresh cilantro
Diced Onion
Garlic
Salt

Add chopped, marinated shrimp and scallops for a nice salad over lettuce.

Or top grilled seafood with this salsa for a wonderful dish.
(I even eat it for breakfast on eggs.)
