I do this for fun, and a living, 25 years. I have to admit it has gotten much harder. I was a market maker on the options floor in the 90's, that was fun and profitable...but that disappeared with electronics and the Home Depot mentality (razor thin margins and mega volume). I prefer to trade volatility, but with the boom in ETF's and options on everything, there is very little these days. The game constantly changing.

I have other sources of income, but no 9-5 job other than trading. I use mechanical trading systems only. still buying... D
