Speaking of crashes, I'm not so sure the mkt could "crash" like one would normally think of crash, like in '87. Mechanical meltdown is more like it, or go down limit 3 days in a row. In '87 it could just go down, and keep going...since, they have installed different kinds of limits, or breakers. When it hits a certain maximum point they close it I believe? So like a commodity, it could go to its limit for the day and stop, and then open or go down to limit the next day, and so on. Anyone have the current "breakpoints".
