Russ, what is CLX stand for?

It was invented by Don Wolanchuk's old boss Joe Granville (now in his 80's and still running his newsletter which Don took to a top rated level when he worked on it). It stands for Climax indicator. da cheif went on to improve the CLX transforming it into the CLXPP which is I have heard more sensitive than CLX.

It requires keeping spreadsheets and doing lots of arithmetic everyday from what I know - too bad you can't get to run automatically in charting program...maybe you can?

He actually gives detailed instructions on his silicon investor site as to how to set it up...he's a pretty generous guy this board should be appreciative that he comes here.

Thank you Russ for that information.

You're welcome Skymaster. Actually Mr Dev I appreciate what you are saying, I agree you have to do your own work unless you have just decided to trust an advisor with a strong track record and do what you are told, but if not get busy, still learning from others and looking objectively at what they are saying is important. Who on this board is 100% right?

they quit tracking me in october 2000 after 14 years......the editor sed he was getting complaints......but wouldnt go into detail...like i did it the same way year after year.......my guess was that the complaints came from some of the gurus that i was monopolizing the timer digest letter......letts face it....the top ten list came out twice a month and theres DW at the top of the list month after month year after year.....its called the flite to mediocrity......they did it to the NFL....salary caps n ********....no more dynasties.........u c...in this country monopolies are frowned upon.......imagine.....a news letter that sez they track the top timers of the country cant really say that any more....but they do anyway......since they stopped tracking me not one timer has been number one more than once......what does that tell ya..... some justa buncha coin flippers........ :P
