As posted this past weekend, Monday has never been down. (Mike Burk's stats)
Sentimentrader was unmoved tonight.
It is S/T bullish which tends to hold back the market.
And indicators look so extended.
Mike Burk suggested that this week is usually strong and SPX is usually up modestly.
The $TRIN chart I showed last week still seems divergent with price which seems to support more rally.
Therefore, let it be know by all: WWW is upon us soon.
I expect some pullback somewhere, but as I said on Jul 2 2007:

Bears are trapped and won't be let out easily.

So far the only way out was: COVER!

Never is a strong word. June 25th was a day to be short --- a profitable Monday on the down side. Is he saying that the market is usually down?

There were signs of weakness in the Nasdaq today in small timeframes... So, besides the fact that we're in an extended daily bearish upthrust, the short term trend indicator is pointing down now... So maybe the script for tomorrow will be something like weak open, followed up by a strong rally after the Minister of Fiat(Dr. Bernanke) has issued his proclamations... I have had 7/12 -13 in mind for some time as the next major turn...

Doesn't look like a strong week is in the cards.

Sorry I didn't link to this weekend's post but the Monday which has never been down was the Monday of the second week in July in the 3rd year of the Presidential cycle.

LINK

During the 3rd year of the Presidential Cycle the OTC has been up 64% of the time with an average gain of 1.15%, half of that gain has been made on Monday which has never been down. Over all years the OTC has also been up 64% of the time with about half the average gain of year 3. The SPX has been modestly positive over all periods.
