If I wanted to shift the sentiment, I wouldnt give my position at all.

As per greene, sentiment is worthless anyway but you should ask him what he has in mind

BTW, OEX PC is now below 1... quite a rate occurance... gap up tomorrow?

There is nothing wrong to expect volatility around fed meeting - 50 points up and then another 50 down, and so on. Both bulls and bears will be right - Bennie has a gift for everyone :D

I presume you agree then - price is most important, then comes volumes and sentiment is worth less (than other two).

Sentiment Can't give you price targets... VOLUME can. Volume analysis IS the most powerful tool, as you say, it's a smart money poll.

Volume doesn't tell you WHEN. Sentiment (often) does. But it's darned nice to know where the targets are. And, greenie, try polishing the reading comprehension just a bit. Price (because it's what we trade), then sentiment, then volume, in order of utility. Mark

Sure it does... you came into today bullish... it hit the volume triggers on the nasdaq 25 pts below where we started today on the buy side, based on a bullish spring.... it sure as hell does tell you WHEN !!.

Actually, based upon the only really clear sentiment signal (from the WSS Survey) we were BEARISH for Monday. I just wasn't willing to trade it, the Buy from the senticator notwithstanding (those signals are more muddy and are weekly anyway).

I suppose volume can give you some pretty good "whens" too. But I'd say fewer and some less timely than sentiment, though it's not like it's a competition. I'll take what I can get, where I can get it. ;)

Yeah, ISEE isn't the indicator that I had hoped. It's generally in need of support from other sentiment to be reliable enough.
