2003 - Both DOW and Bovespa (Brazil) were at 8000 2007 - DOW 14000, Bovespa 61,000 The sucker is moving at 1500+ points per day. What the...? :sweatingbullets: My obsession with the "Emerging Disasters" continues.... :P

This is what happens when they devalued their currency. US is next, 25k is a reality.

This is what happens when they devalued their currency.


The brazilian "Real" has been actually appreciating vis-a-vis the Dollar. So is the Rupee in India. It's because of the massive dollar inflows into these countires. Now that poses a big problem to these export oriented economies, if their local currencies appreciate agianst the Dollar.

So what do the central banks do ? They mop up the excess dollars in the system by selling the local currency, thereby creating huge amounts liquidity in local currency. That excess liquidity gets pushed into the stock market. As i have said many times before, these rallies are nothing more than repricing of assets relative to liquidity levels.

have u forgotten......its called the "epicenter of primary wave 3 up"....or as rn elliot called it ...."the recognition wave".....recognition of free enterprise sweeping the globe.........i saw it all coming in the early 80.s........the hot part is ded ahead.......the dow divisor is now a multiplier.......what you are going to witness in the months ahead will be breathtaking.......fear of heights will rise dramaticly..........nose bleeds all over the place.......the words bubble, tulip mania etc etc will blind investors to whats really unfolding...... :P.......lookit tha hang seng......watch the nikie........watch the naz.....the amex isnt wasting any time........a puny 5 years ago most laft at the thought of what is now unfolding before our very eyes.........
