California had mostly shutdown again, so our numbers should look better, but hospitalization was still rising yesterday. It might take a couple more days to top.

Lagging deaths are gradually rising. Cannot be all elective surgeries...
Some people post fake data probably out of fear.

More "Cases" is actually better than some phony vaccine like the influenza vaccine we get every year.
New Cases are now for more younger people than older people.
I wish you had included that age related data, which is also easily available.
What is good about this? Young healthy people infected with covid-19 have ridiculously low mortality rate.
Most do not even get sick. Most are Asymptomatic. So where is the big deal about high infection numbers?
Those numbers are fooling only the uninformed. In reality MOST young healthy people getting infected have excellent chance of acquiring some immunity. This explains why open countries like Sweden and highly infected areas like NYC are now showing drastic reductions in number of new infections. Texas, Florida etc did NOT have high infection numbers when NYC did. I wish they all were open like Sweden, and by now covid-19 would be on the way out.
Worst thing to do for covid-19 pandemic is to shut down the economy. That is a lose-lose solution.

In a breathtaking display of shameless gaslighting, White House senior adviser Kellyanne Conway on Wednesday accused the states plagued with skyrocketing COVID-19 cases of being too hasty with reopening their economies – you know, the thing President Donald Trump desperately pushed them to do for months.
Truly head-spinning, mind-boggling.
