Of course if bulls are able to make a breakout at the immediate resistance you will have 100 SPX points to the upside ................

darn ok, now I'll look for a short lol!  Always easy to say"but if it does this....."  Make a call and stick with it right or wrong.....

Bulls failed today and bears regained the control of the market.  It was a fake "rally" based on disinformation anyway.  Time to sell calls and load some puts.......................

SELLING options seem to be the best way to trade this market. or, ST and VST trading. 

I have not seen such big INTRA DAY moves since.... maybe never before!

I may have overtraded today and could have made more profit but these markets are not just volatile but insane!  So, I tried both ST and VERY ST trades... worked out well but I could have gotten the same profits or more with at least 25% less trades.  Easy to analyse after ....

 

On this SPLIT/ADJUSTMENT day for GOOG I started a new LONG position. Not touching APPLE, as yet. Will start new LONG below 130 if traded. Or new SHORT above 165 sometime in the future.

 

COPPER still too high so will wait on that LONG trade if and when it drops by another 1.1 or more

Not trading ENERGY markets, too political. Will SHORT USD/JPY above 

Close a few SPY and QQQ CALLS - now holding 35 SPY and 28 QQQ with 2 ES & 2 NQ HEDGE SHORT; those were good HEDGES opened with SELL LIMIT orders during vacation;  added UVXY PUTS late in the session, added a few TLT CALLS. 

No trades in INDA, XLF, IWM, or any banks today. 

 

I think today's reversal down after the APPLE news could continue for a day or two BUT I STILL THINK THE MARKETS will bounce to at least ES 4K before resuming decline

$IWM This thing loves bear flagging into the cloud and breaking down lower Will this time be different? 170 is a major pivot on this one. If we firmly close below, expecting a rather quick move through the volume gap to 158
