You can import IE bookmarks...You won't regret it.

Ah yes this is true All your old favorites become firefox bookmarks

so there is really nothing to lose ,...except the popups

i have a couple of internet services and i use three different browsers -- i.e., firefox, netscape. i also use AOL for most stuff like FF and that means IE.

i get the pop-ups but unlike skott they are just a minor irritant to me.

I believe that management blocks pop ups for those users who aren't freeloaders. :)

Hi Mr D. I use the browser that came with my mac. I can have as many windows open as I want and they can be side by side. Best to you!!

Mr.D, I use FIREFOX here, NETSCAPE @ stockcharts, and SAFARI for e.mail, and can have all open at same time or toggle back and forth or layer or one full, two stacked or layered. RUNNING A MAC OS-X with no problems. My Mac 5 yrs. old but has all upgrades, flat screen. NO bugs, no pops, no crash, joy to use. :cat:

A run mozilla but got a rare pop-up last week when trying to access someone's blog here. I ran a scan and Mcafee found nothing.

well. solved the problem. www.tribalfusion.com was the originator of all the pop ups for me. I put it in my exception list of urls that are not allowed and it seems to be working! yeah!
