I will let somebody else be in the market for the long part of it...
We're in at least a short term down trend, so I see risk.
I will patiently wait for the runup and trade it short.
I'm looking for 1376 RUT and another run at 5900 on the Nasdaq...
90 on the BKX.
We'll see. I could always be too bullish.

up to 30% long. probably should wait to make sure mkt can hold its gains, but i made the move at spx 2343 spx.

I just love these little gap up games they play on the Nasdaq... sets up a nice collapsible gap filling exercise on the way back down, easily identifiable trading targets...

rut really strong.
Yep... here's what I had coming into day for the RUT:
RUT PUSHES HIGHER ON STRONGER VOLUME - FADES BUT HOLDS MORNING GAP UP - RUT pushed to a high of 1376, pulled back under 1364 to 1363.77 and closed the day at 1367 or up about 5 points on the day. OK so volume was a little stronger as RUT managed to push into the upper range today... we're looking for some more rally attempt

first hour action is ok for the bulls. nothing to write home about but if I were short, I would be a bit nervous, but would hold on some of my shorts at least until spx surpasses 2351, yesterday's high. so no one has proven anything yet.

Yep, they haven't even started the pounding on the VIX yet, so there's still plenty of room for more mark up...
Unless that VIX just gets out of control.
I doubt it... Tomorrow's OPEX.

You see this hourly volume building on the crude contract here?
That is probably more money escaping the Eur0...
Europe closes here, we'll see if that volume continues...

OK, Nasdaq just needs to hold 5890 now - to give odds for a retest of the high of 5936...

got a feeling vix will be headed back to prior lows around 12. if mkt can hold here and add to gains, "sell in may then go away" trade could keep the bulls interested at least until mid to late may. new hod's here almost spx 2348.
