what pdx5 said is all true......no way to avoid that a virus enters your body, but if you are vaccinated it will find an army ready to defeat it immediately (because your body thanks to the vaccine has already created antibodies) if you are not vaccinated it won' t find any army ready to defeat it and will spread inside until your immune system after some time learns to produce the right antibodies. Sometimes the immune system takes so much time that the patient dies before.

I don' t know the definition of Pdx5.....but I got mine

My definition of any infection is testing positive. You can test positive without any symptoms if your body is successfully fighting the virus. I never tested positive but do not test myself every month.

an infection is a disease caused by external microrganisms either bacteria or viruses which enter you body and spread throughout it attacking internal parts of it like organs or else until your immune system overcomes it or is overcome by it. That's my definition. Sorry I didn' t study medicine.....too difficult and complicated, I preferred math and physics and all the rest......much easier

Your statements above are profoundly intelligent. It clearly shows you  have high IQ.

Even if one has natural immunity from a previous infection, it may not be high enough to defeat next attack of virus.

But in worst case, as andr99 said above, body can not instantly manufacture enough antibodies when it detects presence of virus.

It is wiser to have a stock of antibodies already waiting in your body. 

It is like buying home insurance. You can skip it. But then most people will get in severe situation if house burns down.

I believe the answer can be surmised as the original antigenic sin. As I understand it, the immune system when encountering a previously  unseen pathogen produces antibodies to that family of pathogens ie... influenza so on the first occurrence the immune system is primed and every subsequent infection it mounts the same antibody response. This would suggest the folly of annual flu vax injections since the immune response is already coded with the initial infection. This goes back to herd immunity as a virus mutates each subsequent INITIAL infection sees a slightly different mutation and produces a slightly different immune response making immune escape much less likely than if everyone is injected with the same antigen coding. So to answer the question the immune response is not being suppressed rather it is uniform across the vaxed population and is not now and never has been neutralizing.

People are likely getting sick BECAUSE they've been vaccinated. Annoying in the extreme.

 

I'll bet that natural immunity is good enough to fight most of the variants off, but my thinking is that the MMR will provide additional SAFE protection from most variants as well, and for almost as long as natural.

Sure. There's all kinds of data on it all over the place. We were aware of this nearly a year ago. Look up "negative vaccine efficacy".

In last 16 months I have done 6 cruises, 65 visits to land restaurants, 96 visits to grocery stores, 12 visits to Home Depot, 50 visits to cancer hospital to escort my wife for treatments who is fighting stage-4 cancer for almost 4 years & 5 months, 3 visits to my doctor for routine exam, 3 visits to Quest lab for routine blood work, 2 visits to eye doctor, dozen visits to bank & post office etc etc
GUESS WHAT, NEVER GOT SICK WITH COVID!! Was it the vaccine or my natural immunity from spending 20 years in virus infested India! I will never know. My wife also had 4 jabs of covid vaccine, and enjoyed 6 cruises with me since the pandemic arrived. She never got sick with covid either. So I am leaning towards the vaccine to help our bodies kill the virus quickly after we inhale it, so symptoms never show up. We were both tested for covid before all 6 cruises at CVS pharmacy. Never positive !!!!!![/




Every time irrefutable evidence is posted that shows vaccinated
increase in sickness, you counter with your 1 and only instance it didn't happen, you are an outlier and
just because you don't get sick does not equal millions others don't either, I don't know why you make such an assumption.
