looks like we put spx 2400 behind us finally. naz is crazy, possibly a hyperbolic terminal run. maybe spx can catch a little fire here.

maybe this rally doesn't end until we get a 3% gain in one day with a TRIN of .25. I think I would be taking some profits on such a day, if I had the good fortune of being long on that day. but really, the spx and djia are going up grudgingly; traders really don't want a rally here, but it is happening and continues to befuddle a lot of us, which is what markets do. if I were smarter, I would have had more QLD's, the double naz100 etf.

What a bunch of wimps. All I can say is, this selling at spx 2400 is being done by a bunch of losers. As I have been saying, spx 2400 is not going to be the sell signal so many of these people are hoping it will be. One of the reasons NAZ is doing fine is the people who trade there know they don't have to deal with the morons dealing in spx (like me), but when they can't hold it back any longer, they are going to get whacked. As I wrote previously today, the majority of traders out there don't want the market to rally because they don't have the nerve to be in it; they feel better being short. But they have been getting killed now for 15 months straight, with just minor pauses with brexit and the election, but other than that, the pullbacks have been like 2%. So hang in there, bulls; the best is yet to come.

Just remember, next time the spx gets to a round number, if it glides through it, your are probably at a short-term peak. Once these people get comfortable with surpassing round numbers is about the time they start getting burned to the downside.
