Today is the 5 week low from Aug 5, so some element of that time is due today (and possibly as late as early Wed due to the little skippers (3 [4-1] and 6 [8-2] TD combos, shortened Gann Cycles), we also have a half cycle that looks to the drop from Aug 13-15 in this time frame, and then there is the Gann shadow low (8+3/4 half cycle) from August 23 which is due no later than late today or perhaps on the open tomorrow.
I have seen the 16+6 cycle suggesting that when the low is complete here (either late today or on a gap down Wednesday) We rally strongly into early the 13th, the shadow cycle (4&6 TD) suggest an irregular top on Tuesday next week (16+8 shadow, a half cycle add on) and then a hard drop into Gann TD 32 low (from August 5) the day after Saturn turns direct and the day following the FED meeting announcement. This relates to August 1-5 which was pretty extreme being down about 189 SPX points.
Today's shadow relates more to August 22-23 than any of the previous and it was down 104.50 pts from top to bottom. That would place this coming low no lower than 2885 and no higher than the symmetry I proposed around the low 2900's (2908?) The top on the 16 TD top on Sept 5 finished an E-wave pattern and the one we are now is completely different going into next week.
Today has the Sun in Virgo opposing Neptune in Pisces. Neptune is sq. Jupiter in Sagittarius so we are in a period of huge swings coming right into next week (irrational exuberance coupled with hysteria and panic. All the planets being mutable makes it even more exaggerated. We had the Mars trine Saturn Monday morning with the irr. top (Saturn is being aspected more because it is about to go Sta/Direct next week).
Bottom line: a low either late today or early on a gap down 9/11 followed by a strong rally into early Friday, a period of irr. tops into Tuesday and the hard down into Sept 19 (the closer we get to the Autumnal Equinox, the more exaggerated these highs and lows become).
Price: the low this week should be no lower than 2885/86/ no higher than around 2905/10.

I'm worried that's a little to obvious but a pullback for sure today, you can feel the resistance so far.

SPX 2940 was a strong resistance and the breakout point a few days ago, and now should act as a support. I'd expect a back test of that line before anything else ...............

Looks like I was right about the resistance but we could see it final hour still, especially after digesting all the news!!
